Dhaka, 8 Feb, Abnews: Bangladesh's spinners have continued their domination of Sri Lanka's batsmen on the opening day of their second Test in Dakha, leaving the visitors in trouble at 8-205 at tea.
Left-armer Abdur Razzak (4-59) and Taijul Islam (3-74) shared seven wickets to run through the Sri Lankan innings after captain Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and decided to bat.
Roshen Silva, who put on two significant partnerships, was batting on 45.
Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and elected to bat first in the second and final test of the series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Thursday morning.
The second test is important for Bangladesh because if the Tigers will be able to snatch a draw in the match, they will move up eighth position for the first time in the ICC Test ranking.
