Dhaka, 16 April, Abnews: Three leaders of the recent quota reform movement who were reportedly picked up by detectives have now been released.
The three leaders were identified as Nurul Haque Nur, Farooq Hasan and Muhammad Rashed Khan.
Hasan Al Mamun, convener of Bangladesh General Students’ Rights Protection Forum, the leading banner of the quota reform movement, said the three leaders of their quota reform movement have been released an hour after they were picked up by detectives.
At a press conference on Monday morning , the ‘Council for the Preservation of Bangladesh General Students’ Rights’ demanded withdrawal of all cases filed against the protesters during quota reform movement within two days.
Earlier on April 11, four cases were filed against unnamed accused following the clash and vandalism in DU camps and its VC’s house during the demonstration for the reformation of quota system in government jobs.
