Dhaka, 18 April, Abnews: Businessman and former actor Ananta Jalil has expressed his willingness to bear the educational expenses of the two younger brothers of Rajib Hossain, a college studentwho died following a tragic road accident in Dhaka.
In a Facebook post on the day of his birthday on Tuesday Ananta, once known as an action hero in Bangla cinema, expressed his shock over the death of Rajib.
"The future of his two younger brothers is at risk due to Rajib's untimely death. Therefore, on the day of my birthday I want to take the responsibility of education of the two children who has no family," he said in the post.
Later, Ananta's post was praised highly by his followers as well as other Facebook users.
Ananta, chairman and managing director of AJI Group, submitted his post from Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
On April 3, Rajib Hossain met with an accident which cost him his right hand whilst travelling on a double decker BRTC bus. He was standing at the doorway at the back of the bus with his hand partially out, when another bus recklessly overtook, severing his hand. The accident took place in the city's Karwan Bazar area.
He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Tuesday.
